Who is WIF?

The Wesleyan Investment Foundation is a 79 year-old Christian, non-profit financial ministry based in Fishers, Indiana. Their mission is to resource church growth by providing affordable loans to churches and ministries while offering secure investment options to individuals and organizations who want their money to support Kingdom impact.

Resources flow in from investors – individuals, churches, nonprofits and businesses. Then funds go back out to fund WIF’s mission – which is primarily resourcing local churches through loans.

How would we handle cash deposits?

While electronic giving is growing, many churches still receive a portion of their contributions in cash. Our recommended approach is to maintain a simple local deposit account for handling cash. We’ll set up an easy transfer process so you can move those funds directly into your Kingsworth operating account. We are also actively working on alternative solutions to improve the handling of cash deposits in the future.

Can you all connect directly with our accounting software?

Almost certainly. We currently offer direct integrations with QuickBooks, Intact and other popular systems, and we can connect with just about any other software through our Plaid API, and industry-leading fintech connectivity solution. We also have an ongoing roadmap of additional integrations based on church feedback, so if you have any specific requests for integrations, I’d love to help capture that feedback.

Are you able to match the functions of our current banking?

Absolutely. Kingsworth offers the same full suite of banking services you’d expect from any modern banking experience. We offer everything from checking accounts, to funds transfers of various types, to digital and mobile banking. If you’re looking for a specific service, we’d be happy to address whether or not it is offered at this time.
